This painting is a tribute to the iconic comedian Jerry Lewis. I vividly recall being around 10 years old when my father took me to a movie theater in Trier, Germany, to watch a film featuring Jerry Lewis. While the cinema may no longer exist today, the fondness for Jerry Lewis endures. Numerous films starring him followed, and his comedic style resonated perfectly with my sense of humor as a child and later as an adult. This portrait seeks to capture the enduring impact of Lewis's humor and the nostalgic connection to a time when his films brought laughter and joy to my childhood, leaving an enduring imprint on my sense of humor.
