DAVID BOWIE

This painting is a tribute to David Bowie, one of my favorite musicians from my early teenage years. My introduction to Bowie came through listening to Queen and their collaboration on the track UNDER PRESSURE. Despite my subsequent deep dive into the realms of Hip-Hop culture, Rap, Funk, and R'n'B over the decades, Bowie's song HEROES remains one of my all-time favorites. The portrait seeks to capture the essence of Bowie's enduring influence on my musical tastes and the timeless allure of his work, showcasing a connection that has persisted through various phases of my musical journey.
