This painting pays homage to Popeye, the iconic cartoon character who held a special place in my heart during my childhood. Including him in my series was a must, given that the theme of comics has always played a significant role and exerted influence in my artistic expression. I'm drawn to vibrant colors and the classic comic style, and Popeye, with his timeless charm, perfectly encapsulates the nostalgic essence I seek to convey in this piece.
